im actually pretty glad riot put such an intrusive piece of software in their game because it means i cant play it anymore. the game will launch load and spawn me in but then crashes after 5 seconds every single time

League was one of the best games to get away from cheaters. Like sure it happened but it was nothing like aim bots in other games. Scripting gave you an advantage but if anything its like a 10% edge and even then you realize the scripts are super predictable and bait/outplay them in certain situations. Vanguard literally did nothing except turn people off from league.

Problem is its to similar from what it was 15 years ago even, no one wants to do all that effort just to get DMCAd or have two dozen players. I would love to replay Twisted Treeline or even Dominion again but it will never happen because ARAM for some reason is 100x more popular.
