>Get older and older
>Feel like playing vidya less and less.
>Everything feels like a derivative of something else.
>Feels like I’m wasting time more and more.
>Other hobbies that actually benefit me in real life interest me more and more like cooking and hiking.
>Vidyas that have been praised for amazing plots feels childish after actually reading actual “adult” books.
>Huge vidya events/dramas like stop killing games and GTA 6 elicit no emotion from me like it used too.
I’ll be damned the normalfags weren’t lying, you actually “grow out of video games”.

Eventually you'll just stop using this site all together and we won't remember you

More like you got bored of an old hobby and decided to try new things, retard. Everyone who isn’t autistic does this. It’s not special

You fried your dopamine receptors doing the same activity. you are supposed to have multiple hobbies, not just one or it gets old

The site anonymous so why would you? If anyone’s remembered here it would just be for negative things. Leaving well enough alone sounds like something we should strive for.

This isn't the first time this thread has been made and don't pretend like it hasn't

I try new IRL hobbies all the time like lifting, drawing, and learning instruments but I still continue to play video games even though I'm 30. I always try new genres so they always feel fresh and I still feel excited to play games in my free time.

Maybe you're suffering from depression, or maybe you're starting to take yourself a little too seriously. A lot of my old friends think they're above it all when they're the most boring mundane fuckers that's ever lived. And so am I but I don't think I'm too mature to give anything a go if it seems fun. Lighten up buddy.

I'm in my 40s. Last played games - Endless Space 2, Shadowverse, Songs of Syx
My play sessions are shorter than they used to be but it's still the most engaging hobby I've tried.

This. After reading amazing adventures of a Jewish cuckold stalking the streets of Dublin on the 16th of June 1904 I feel like a changed man. After seeing him shit, piss, masturbate, fantasise about femdom and buy an erotic novel, I can no longer stand video games' trite plots.

You are never wasting time if you are doing something you enjoy.

I try doing these things but it never sticks
