The enemy he snapped 180 degrees to, behind the wall, was never on the mini map and was obviously afk so wasn't moving either so no footsteps being made.....but yet Shroud snaps perfectly onto that player. Totally legit guys.

When I played Guild Wars I exclusively played interrupt ranger. After a while I would just watch the other team's tanks and fire off an interrupt shot at the monks when I assumed they were about to heal. This surprisingly worked a lot, probably 3/4ths of the time, and the amount of people who accussed me of using a bot/script/whatever makes me happy to this day. Never cheated, but was such a menace I got accused of it constantly.

I have roughly 2k hours in kovaaks. it's so easy to spot the streamers who cheat when you understand how aiming works. the one you posted is extremely obvious that it locked on to an enemy behind the wall. the cheap cheats or ones not set up properly do that

That said, I won't deny that the clip is a bit suspect. I've gotten 1-tap headshots through smokes before in CS, and I'm willing to give that clip the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just a lucky guess on his part.

Again, this is just wallbanging. The enemy behind the wall is situated on the box in picrel, which is a common off-angle to hold. With proper map knowledge, anyone could guess that a player is sitting on the box and shoot at head level, which is exactly what Shroud did in the clip. The bullet ended up making a hole in the wall and damaging the player behind it, so it was the right call to make, even if Shroud didn't commit by spraying the wall. If you think this clip in particular is indicative of cheating then you've either never played CS or you're retarded.

Does using an exploit count as cheating?
If it does, I used the bolt exploit in Blackwater City / Planet Rilgar in Faggot & Wank to get to 1 million bolts, I ain't grinding that shit, the alternative would've just resulted in me running around well after I had completed the game and all the skill points and bolts just to get to the millie required for the RYNO. no, that's just the devs making a mistake and people use it at their advantage, it's extremely common in racing games.
in iracing it was a bug when your wheel was sitting between the road and the grass, it gave you a lot of speed so all players started doing it
in Assetto Corsa it's the collision indicator, people use it to hug your car as much as possible forcing you to slam your brakes or get penalties that will drop your place.

Cheated on Tarkov after i was done playing this piece of shit, just to see how easy it was. Its incredibly easy. I used a cheap wallhack from a russian dude, checked what everyone was doing in a few games and killed a bunch of dudes in the most obvious wall-hacking ways. My account remains unbanned to this day. In SP yes, I used trainers / cheats in some games when I was a kid. That quickly taught me that using cheats and removing the challenge of the game also removes the fun. I also duped some items on some WoW private server back in the TBC days, though nothing much.

It was cool thing to do in pre-steam CS 1.5 or 1.6 or whatever it was called. You'd get 1 year temp ban, but you could continue playing legit if you had second copy/different cd key (I'm not sure, but I think you could use HL1 collection's CD key or something). It was fun as hell as long you didn't "over do it", skirting on the edge, or if you did cheat overtly (using scout inside the cs_assault hangar to shoot through the roof on people on the roof) then you wouldn't say on the server for too long. Basically it's ok if you want to fuck people up a bit, but just don't stay for too long
