It's the perfect choice of words because it is uncomfortable to the people who are meant to feel uncomfortable when they read it. He's saying that the HR departments need to be burned to the ground and freedom of expression has to be the focus of the medium, besides companies having to return to the AA model and relearn to take risks with new projects. The western games industry is too clean to be creative or impressive. His games may not sell gangbusters but they are memorable. There's a very big difference between 9-5 "professionals" with curated social media and the old guard of the games industry who created the big IPs that made gaming great.
