Nier stylized arcade action games
Proper fucking titanfall project
More innovative designs in platformers.
Crossplay native games.

As for non-games:
A fucking native bluetooth option for non-sony headphones
Give us back controll over save files
improved input read speeds from wireless controller
native keyboard&mouse support
better access to cooler maintenance

In general things that worked most: tpp action, storytelling, arcade gameplay ect.. most of new designs are shit or gpt writer clones.

People miss games where design would create fun for them. Back in exclusivity era games had to stand out so much it would bring customers in. For example: what bloodborne did for ps4. Now you need few gachas, lootbox stores, and another slop.
Top ps5 games now are fortnite, cod, gta, roblox, Marvel Rivals (MAU May 2025)
