Friend gifted me this after I told him I was looking for a single player MMO. How close will this scratch the itch cause so far it's just JRPG fag shit
In the future they'll use this game as a basis for time travel because they managed to make a 100~ hour game feel like a 200+ hour game.
It's an excellent game, it's an action RPG.
It's in real time, very fun and stimulating with parkour, figuring out how to go up mainly, and the dungeon give you satisfying puzzle that make you use your weapon and their elemental property.
Wave based enemy I fought were complete kino, but you'll see that for yourself far into the game
Pretty fun little game. Puzzles are great, but at a certain point they throw THREE dungeons in your face and then puzzles get kinda tiring. Still a great game overall. If you really want to have fun with the game, then make a glass cannon build by investing in only crits. That shit was so fun when I did it, you'll melt enemies.

>>714695725 (OP)Why would you want a singleplayer MMO? Are you retarded?
It's a fun action RPG.
>>714695725 (OP)>I was looking for a single player MMOCrossCode is great, but you could also check out Dragons Dogman Online. It got revived by fans not long ago and there's a server that's been balanced for solo play with no grind at all
>>714695725 (OP)Why not ask your friend who knows you better than us, retard.
It's themed like an MMO but it's more of a puzzle action RPG. Great quests though.
>>714695725 (OP)>remove MMO from MMORPG>be left off with an RPGWho could've imagined.
I also bought it earlier this week and I'm enjoying it so far. Some parkour segments are annoying since it's hard to tell the depth of platforms on a 2D game, but everything else is pretty great
>>714699890>Some parkour segments are annoying since it's hard to tell the depth of platforms on a 2D gameThrowing balls everywhere got so fucking annoying, not to mention the few specific jumpable cliffs that do NOT look like you can jump on them.
It's a poor man's attempt at .hack, the combat is way way way too clicky and the puzzles are mediocre. Dungeons were alright.
>>714695725 (OP)I'd recommend:
FFXII (Basically single player FFXI)
Dragon Age Inquisition (Pick mage for a more MMO like experience. Warrior and Rogue are a bit more action oriented)
>>714702619>FFXIIthat game plays on it's own
>>714702750If you personally set it up to do so. You can use gambits as much or as little as you like. They're there because you're controlling a party of four, not just one character and there are TONS of enemies. So although you can just set commands to wait and do it all yourself manually that can take a lot of time.
FF12 is like the second or third worst one, and it baffles me that people still talk about it
>>714695725 (OP)It's an MMO in setting only, it plays like an action rpg with zelda puzzles
>>714704092Don't get me wrong, FF12 has a weak disjointed story and is far from my favorite. I'm recommending it to OP specifically because it plays like a single player MMO. Both in the feel of combat and the zone structure and even the hunt quests and fields of mobs standing around.
