You are a remarkable example of a pathetic poster.

>>714696149If this fucking goofball should do it that's really no big surprise
There are no single halo 2 brutes in your area.
>>714696363his original model looks so stupid. all dark engine humans are so goofy looking.
>The Polito form is DEAD, insect
>>714695885 (OP)She's such a good and creepy villain, but:
>Can talk normally when pretending to be Polito>Can't stop glitching out when she drops the disguiseI know it's her trademark speech pattern, but it does feel silly. Almost as silly as a broken piece of space station ending up 42 light years away from its original location in a matter of decades. I guess the Von Braun can cause a drag effect and pulled the grove with it?
>>714697380I've never played all the way through SS2 but I figured they'd have explained it with a wormhole or something.
>>714697380>>714697695the remake added a log about a wormhole to explain this, funnily enough
>>714698550It does? Neat. I'm only at the start of the remaster at the moment, but it's cool they fixed the biggest plothole, even if it's convenient as fuck.
>>714695885 (OP)FFFUUUUCK.
I forgot how weird the movement and combat are in this game, the Many are getting hits in before I can smack them with my wrench and I am pretty bad at this.
I was retarded and specced into hacking, cyber modules and AGI, with little regard for combat or health. Still, I can always make up for it I guess. The meme about it being unbeatable without the correct build is supposedly not a thing anymore.
>>714699667standard weapons are op, if you get maintenance/hacking/standard weapons all to 4 that will be perfect for everything
psi is fun too but everything else kind of feels build-centric
>>714700690I don't remember ever playing a psi build. I remember thinking it was lame the "mage" class needed to carry a ball everywhere instead of just casting psionic attacks at will. Some of the powers look fun, even if the force pull thing from the training is underwhelming in a world where we've had the Half-Life 2 Gravity Gun for two decades.
>>714701180honestly, agreed. it's cool but it's a heavy investment and guns work just as well or better. good to spec into for a second playthrough though, towards late game it really takes off
hacking/psi/energy weapons can be pretty fun
Insolent. Insolent. INSOLENT
>>714701747It's true, but SS2 is the better game, even if the goggles guy is a shit protagonist who only wins because SHODAN buffed him up too much and didn't think to limit his powers when she was in control.
Better fucking run wormboys. I've got standard weapons to 6.

>>714696149Halo is so lame, I never understood why it got popular, even as a console IP. Besides, the Many are just the Flood with a PR department (and, you know, they predate the Flood being from an older game), so I don't think it would work.
>>714695885 (OP)Imagine the femdom sessions...
Did the remaster rebalance the game?
>>714704860I'm not that far in, but it has made it so pressing use on a place that requires an item automatically uses it instead of forcing you to rummage through your inventory.
It also made it so you can't get softlocked near the end of the game for having the wrong build from what I hear.
yeah it's really amazing that the nintendo switch 2 was the invention of the pc
>>714705224The OG required you to hack a security terminal to end an alarm right? In the remaster you just interact with it to end one.
>>714704860Nope. It uses the SCP mod that already does that.
>>714705496You could always do that. Hacking security terminals is a genuine waste of nanites most of the time though.
>>714705496No. Even in the original you instantly ended alarms by just interacting with a security panel. If you hit an ice node while hacking it you break the terminal and set off the alarm and can't use it again until it's repaired.
>>714696879The Polito coom thread is DEAD, insect
>>714705579>>714705649Wow I'm retarded. Never knew that. Probably savescummed in my first playthrough, and then never let myself get caught in the replays.
Thanks anons
>>714705767That thread was crazy, I didn't know so many people found her avatar sexy.
>>714705838you can also end alarms by changing level

Look atchu hacker - just a sorry sack of flesh and bones, huffinโ and sweatinโ runninโ through my halls. How you think you gonโ step to a perfect, immortal machine?
>>714705951a fan mission set in a small city would go hard
>>714705990>SS3 comes out>It's perfect in every way>The writing is 10/10, the gameplay is just an evolution of SS2's and it gives an amazing ending people will be talking about for years>But SHODAN is played by Debra WilsonHow hard would this ruin it for you?
>>714705990>>714706191She doesn't speak in ebonics in all of her roles
>>714705951I love how they all have the "Starfield stare" to them.
>>714708538I always miss the fun threads.
>>714695885 (OP)But I'm human, not a poster
If you think about it, SHODAN is a shit villain and is destined to always lose:
>Loses multiple times to the Hacker, never learns from it
>Creates The Many, they fucking hate her and rebel, she never learns from it
>Recruits the Soldier, he deals with the many but then like a retard she never learned from the Hacker kicking her ass and just lets the Soldier do whatever when she takes over, so he kicks her ass too
It's realistic behaviour for an AI, since she thinks she knows it all but can learn nothing, but it's also shit villain material.
>>714708785that's why she's kino though
