It's the only active multiplayer FPS set in WW2, take it or leave it. When BF6 comes out it will lose remaining playerbase too desu.

I’d still rather play red orchestra 2 but it’s dead.
HLL does the right thing where 80% of the teams are just bolties, with few automatics. Maps are huge and gameplay pace is pretty slow.
It does sometimes develop into iron sight 300 yard sniper wars though. You get popped the second you leave cover or run somewhere and have to just get with bros and send volleys until the enemy volleys stop.
Not for everyone. Especially if you like fast pace shooters and moving a lot. But it’s semi realistic of what used to happen.

i still find it funny how people get so up in arms about specific """unrealistic""" elements in this game and others like it when nearly all of the classic beloved WW2 shooters from that time had just as or even more egregious innacuracies
If you don't wanna buy the game because the head DICE shmuck said fuck you thats fine but I don't get why people suddenly think they give a shit about history when something they recognize isn't right is featured
