Some things are too broken while other things are underpowered.

For me it's the fact that some weapons in DT are just a complete downgrade from weapons that fill the same role. There's no reason to ever use some of the autogun or lasgun marks, and even the lasgun marks that aren't shit will still be outperformed in identical areas by other weapons.
In VT2, some weapons might be better than others overall but each has a niche and reason to exist.
