In reality, people just want a good tactical game to be immersed in. No-one actually gives a shit about some mention of a pedophile in a random computer that you press a button on for 1 second, or some naked lady in a metal container. People look at that for 2 seconds, then go "Oh... well anyways, back to the mission". No-one cared about SWAT 4's dead babies basement back in 2005 and no-one cares today.

It immerses me in the setting of operating in a dysfunctional city. I'm going to feel it a lot more when I see a child high on something convulsing on a bed than seeing them lying peacefully in bed after I ventilated two of her surrogate parents one room over. I want a no-holds barred experience where I get to see just how fucked up this city is, not a watered down version because xbawks or peestation wouldn't like it.
I enjoyed both the gameplay and the setting accentuated it, much like how music during am emotional scene helps amplify said emotion. You can dull it, sure, but you're losing part of what gave the game its identity

I do agree that the CP should be implied. However, the dismemberment is a core feature of the game, and the change to how dead bodies function can actually affect that in a pretty negative way. Also, I'm kinda mixed on the girl convulsing on the bed. It was shocking to see, but I don't think it was too much.

All they did was put underwear on the naked men and women(don't really care), and the kid is now sleeping in the crack house instead of ODing(I disagree with this change)
The child headshots still exist in The Spider but the photos in 23 megabytes per second nightstand were changed to make more narrative sense. The trafficked/raped children are still very well implied.
I think it's fair to disagree with the censorship but I do think lots of people are riled up and don't really know the extent of the censorship thinking they're shifting the game away from sexual trafficking kids, terrorism, school shootings, and global mkultra conspiracies into "Just shoot DA bad guys, dey bad because dey have guns"
