literally everyone was. to solve this retarded puzzle you had to know how to rotate your character in place otherwise it was not doable. there was only a small bit of information about that mechanic in the very first tutorial dungeon. this puzzle was several hours later into the game and was the first time that it was required. by that time everyone forgot about the stupid rotation thingy. literally the worst puzzle I have seen in a video game.

I watched a friend play it on emulator when we were kids and this is where he stopped. I don't even know how far into the game it is. All I remember is a spider boss and those puzzles.

I had a dream I was playing a brand new Lufia game. The enemies are a cult called the Maxim Hunters. Their goal is to slaughter the entire Maxim bloodline because they believe the Sinistrals are their gods or something.
