I played every Smash game, but only 2 years ago got to play Smash 64 in a gaming bar.
Felt like shit, not sure if its because of the used up controller or the game itself, but inputs were unprecise, everything felt clunky.
There is a reason why this is the only Smash game nobody brings up anymore.
