Mupen64Plus-Next is a fork and not the exact same thing. It's much more accurate too
Also, Plus-Next is much better than the other core (Parallel-N64) and pretty much it's successor

I hate how n64 all have different aspect ratios and overscans.
Something like snowboard kids 1 takes up very little screenspace, but then starfox 64 takes up the whole screen. I can crop the overscans out so that the smaller games fit, but then other games are too far zoomed in and have shit cropped out.

would probably be better if i used retroarch and set it as a per-game setting, but i don't wanna use retroshart
