not quite how mig switch works, mig switch on switch 1 (when done properly and you don't get banned immediately after the cartridge is loaded) is a one to one copy of the original cartridge, but there still has to be some kind of cartridge giveaway that switch 2 can pick up on

the armchair engineer in me is clueless, could be anything from a minute pressure difference in the cartridge loader to a real one or it just could be the switch 2's OS is a bit more foolproof

I have yet to see someone argue credibly against the fact you can't even download updates anymore once blocked from Nintendo's servers, locking you out of future games that require them, if the games are even on the card.
