Standup is the absolute highest skill requirement in entertainment. Even some of the funniest comedians in the world in other formats like acting are piss poor at standup. It's in its own league. Most standup comedians can get into acting but the other way around is way harder. This is some washed up game dev so I don't even know why anyone would expect anything funny.
