Both endings are trash.
You either go back in time and none of the things you did all game ever happened.
Or you let the tornado happen so everyone dies and whole city is destroyed so nothing you did matters anyway.

This is just like GTA 4 ending, Roman's death is the official because a lot of missions revolves around him, meanwhile Kate's interaction is only through dating which you can totally avoid her.

God I love Maxine so much there was a girl back in my uni who was somewhat like her, loves music too really into shoegaze and I play the guitar but behold my autism made her distance herself from me. Till today I never found love again.
