A solo contributor can't run such an endeavor because there's simply too many video games.
An individual will have blind spots in regards to some genre/platform/year

So you need multiple people to curate.
When it comes to selecting these people however, you need to determine they're knowledgeable and tasteful.
Basically they need an identity that you can verify.
However, personal identities are anathema to 4chan culture.

So the remaining option is you open contribution up to everyone,
but this makes your list succumb to both ad populum and open you up to the potential of getting co-opted by antis who somehow have too much free time.

The original /v/ wiki was vandalized beyond repair around a decade ago so people stopped linking to it. Some people tried making a new one (I think this one >>714744727) but nobody wanted to put the work in so that went nowhere.
