Anyone else's Switch 2 getting a little too hot to the touch while playing in handheld? Would reapplying the thermal paste or maybe liquid metal solve this issue?

that's not how it works, power draw doesn't have that big a variance
the simple answer is that they're not pushing it hard enough and that the cooling just isn't good enough for docked

This. Portable devices move the heat partially to the chassis to create surface area for better cooling. You see the same effect in high end laptops.

What games? I don't play 2077 on Switch, but I've never experienced this overheating when playing BOTW or Splatoon 3 in handheld.
