Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper is pretty good. It's authentic enough that you rule out many real-world suspects and the culprit in the game turns out to be a plausible real-world suspect (although not one of the top candidates like Aaron Kosminski), discovered through fictional evidence.
