I disagree to make such a shallow rating. Because overall it was a little bit underwhelming, felt too short.
But the amount of work it got, the creativity in the “power-ups“ and design were really good.
I only agree that in the consistency or oberall appeal it wasnt good.

We are not the target group here. But i agree that Sparkle Gems and Ribbons are very easy to get. They are mostly rewards for progressing the story than secrets.

Honestly, Showtime is very easy even regarding Mario games. Most of the collectables are obtained by progressing the story. It is much more a mini-game play along game than a real Jump&Run Mario game. The difficulty for example is more like Chef Peach how the game interprets your cursor.

Those two are completely different in how they play and present themselves. Wonder is a one-off so far, so that's a poor comparison. You can easily do a Daisy, Waluigi or Rosalina game that isn't a Mario derivative.
