Where would you rank it on your top soulslikes list?

I don't know because the only souls games I've played are Elden Ring and Bloodborne and it's not really like either of those, but it's a fun game. It makes me want to check out Nioh since I keep seeing people saying it's closer to that, but I don't know if I should just wait until Nioh 3 since that got announced.

It's number 2, although my number 1 game is kinda iffy if it counts as a Souslike. If it doesn't then Khazan is number 1

thought the bosses were way overtuned and the environments were kinda boring, other than that it felt pretty solid. still prefer lies of p and all fromsoft games (besides dark souls 2)

probably around dark souls 2. it has better bosses and powers but the world is generic and linear. and those same bosses are too long and punishing requiring you to play by their rules rather than dictate the fight by going mad

On a general tier list? Not super high.
Level design is not really good, art & graphism is really average too. Music is forgetable.

Purely on gameplay though, it might be my top 1. Fucking finally a game that respect the player and let you have fun.
My biggest issue with most modern soulslike can be reduce too "why is the boss playing a better and more fun game than me?"
Every fucking souls gameplay devolve into watching the boss doing backflip and billion hit combo while you just watch and parry or dodge until it's finally your turn. And then the only thing you are doing is like two R1 or one charged R2.
This doesn't feel like that in Khazan at all. You can actually play like a berserker and bash their skull in when it's your turn.

Wukong is the other game. I haven't really played that many other Soulslikes, though the ones I've skipped mostly seem to be not held in that high regard. I've only really played Dark Souls 1 and 3, Sekiro, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Lies of P and Nioh 1 (and the Jedi games if you count those)
