God, Chapter 13 was dogshit

I loved the core Xenoblade trilogy but I just can't finish this game. I'm mostly done and can't bring myself to end it. I don't care about the characters, the smaller world makes everything feel so repetitive, the party members all feel the same, and overdrive trivializes the battles

There's a couple specific exceptions like both Irinia and HB being amazing supports if you give them a Ramjet Rifle, but in general party members are just there for moral support.

Personally, I like XC2's combat a bit more, but this game's combat is not bad, better than 3's atleast. The story is okay, it's a mess if you stop to think about it too long but if you like sci-fi stories about exploring a huge alien world with a ton of alien races it's fun. It has some of the best exploration out of all the XC games too.

It's a masterpiece and there is no game like it. The main story is very barebones but the sidequest chains especially as you recruit alien races into your city and their different cultures all clash is high kino.

It's because of the resolution.
X renders at 720p handheld, and the Switch 2 screen is 1080p, so the upscaling used will make things look a bit blurrier than on a native 720p screen.

If you used an orange art, then using a yellow art right after will NOT increase the counter. Same with yellow switching to orange.

I only finished chapter 11 today, ~116 hours in, still have all the new sidequests that unlocks before ch12, then post game and ch13. I played the original back in the day but I'm taking my time with this along with playing other games that have been releasing.
