Alright, /v/, this is a million dollar idea, so listen carefully.

It's a procedurally generated open world roguelite with card based combat where you are a citizen of spaceship that is a full on human colony. Each section of the space ship is the same size as a country and each have their own visuals and cultures. For example, the engine section is an Asian-inspired area and the dominant colors there are red and green, all its assets are very cyberpunk-focused. I have a full design document with all 17 different ship areas, and each of those areas is ingame bigger than Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim combined. Also, there are 960430 quests and they are all extremely well written, incredibly reactive and affect one another, and there are 8643870 different possible endings for the game and each one is a full 2 minute cutscene plus 4 minute slideshow epilogue that are all completely different from one another. My design document has just gotten started on these, but I'll keep working on it when we get the game development started proper.

Anyway, who wants to be a developer of this game? I will be the director, of course, I'm aiming to become the next Hideo Kojima with this.

I'm sorry, anon, most people simply just don't have what it takes to have good ideas. You need a brain that can flawlessly rotate and change the colors of apples in your head.

I already know exactly what the comic and TTRPG guidebook will look like, as well. The comic book will have Tintin-inspired artwork only 50 times better and writing on the same level as Watchmen. Also, I have thought of the trailer too. It will be set to Frank Sinatra's "My Way"

The third area of the game, the Mega-Lounge, heavily inspired by Germany and Scandinavia, will have Blue Prince tier puzzles for a lot its quests. Basically people will have to do a community effort like it's an A.R.G. to figure out the solutions. And don't forget the seventh area, name still undecided, which is based on Mediterranean Europe and will look like and have soundtrack that is inspired by Clair Obscur.

Stop. Fucking stop. I'm the director here, ok? Your ideas fucking suck. You will never be me. I'm only making this thread for artists, animators and coders to come work for me and fulfill my idea. Also need someone to fund them, by the way.

The described concept exceeds feasible production and design constraints across multiple axes:

Procedural Generation + High Reactivity: High-quality, reactive questlines conflict with procedural generation. Maintaining narrative coherence and meaningful interdependence among 960,430 quests requires authorial control and extensive testing, incompatible with the scalable randomness of procedural systems.

World Size: Seventeen areas, each larger than Morrowind (16 km2), Oblivion (41 km2), and Skyrim (37 km2) combined (>94 km2), yields a minimum world size of over 1,598 km2. This surpasses the scale of most open-world games and poses substantial logistical issues for traversal, asset distribution, memory optimization, and content density.

Endings Count: 8,643,870 distinct 6-minute endings equates to over 988,000 hours of unique ending content. Even assuming algorithmic generation, producing fully differentiated audiovisual epilogues at this scale while avoiding redundancy or low-quality output is infeasible with current methods.

Quests: 960,430 quests exceed industry precedent by several orders of magnitude. For reference, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim includes approximately 273 quests (main + side), with the Radiant system enabling permutations. Ensuring quality and inter-quest consequence at this volume is not technically practical without major abstraction and automation that would likely reduce narrative depth.

Design Document Scope: A project of this scope requires modularization, subsystem isolation, and project management across multiple disciplines (writing, AI behavior, quest logic, environment design, audio, animation, etc.). Initiating development with only a partially completed design document implies an underdeveloped production plan.

The concept is structurally unbounded and exceeds the capacity of current AAA game studios in terms of budget, labor, compute, and time.

we need to contact asmongold and get him in the game. so we can put a sticker on the box "also featuring asmongold"(his face will be above this text).
i think this will be good for sales

Ok, that actually is a great idea. I'm gonna ask Asmongold and Grummz to look over my design document to make sure it's 0% woke and gamer-approved.

i would create 10 minutes of animations and play them on 0.0001 speec for 2 minutes at a time
