9 isn't very good gameplay wise and lacks the clever systems of 7 and 10 so I can see why people don't really talk about it much beyond the graphics, music and characters.

I only played it t launch and it pushed the PSX so fucking hard, battles took nearly a full minute to load in and out and your commands felt incredibly unresponsive.
Trance is also fucking dogshit and arguably the worst LB system in the entire franchise.

Freya is cool as fuck though and I'm not even a furry.
