try using evga precision (or whatever yours uses) and lock the gpu/mem frequencies to something lower. maybe its spiking up trying to render 4k and that particular power load it can't handle. i have to do that for subnautica and terminator (1080ti)
>>714789770 (OP) If it's hard shutting down (straight to black), it's likely the PSU. PSUs often have a failsafe where they will shut down if the get too hot, because the alternative is the PSU catching on fire. It's either going bad, or one of the fans stopped working and it's overheating.
