It's a classic AAA single player shooter. Which means it's better than modern AAA singleplayer shooters. We used to get Space Marine 2s every few months back in the day. Now it's just a breath of fresh air since times have changed and we don't get "Literally just what's expected of a AAA game regardless of genre or franchise" anymore

Considering the trend for games based off of existing ips, 40k has a remarkably good track record. The worst you could offer might be Fire Warrior which is like a barely passing grade.
