Everything afterwards has just been less fun. Ardenti's 999/shoujo references were fun but that's it.

What is the general theme/story about in Penacony and notGreece, anyway?
I dropped the game mid-Laofu and was considering coming back with how people found Penacony good, but with the next planet looking like a rejected version of Genshin's Remuria and people saying the powercreep has been following the old gacha standards, I quickly lost all interest.

Did they at least get something interesting going on or are they completely aimless with the whole story and everything surrounding it?

Penacony is mostly a 'safety' vs 'freedom' type thing, if you playe Persona 5 Royal then its Maruki's thing all over again but slightly less benevolent with a lot of outside groups meddling.

The main cause of the conflict is a group following an ideal of control for the sake of keepin the things they value safe, while the group that ends up supporting the mc is focused on letting people have the freedom.

notGreece is seemingly about conflict between creation and its creators the whole planet is built upon by the discarded component of a god vowing vengence for being discarded. It does this by creating the notGreece as a simulated world where titans create the world and eventually are driven mad to be replaced by their creations a select group of which ascend to become titans and repeat the process.
Add to this a group of people in notGreece realized this was the case and are now trying to subvert the discarded component which created the simulation and made them live in a world doomed to die.

Inazuma was written brutally historically accurate. Genshin shows a more realistic take on Japan than all of Ghosts of Sushi, Shogun 2 and Asscreed combined.

As someone who dropped these games and marathoned the last patches I can see the problem with chinks writing: it's not the constant yapping, it's every character must be some kind of smart Sherlock Holmes explaining things and being too rational. Characters need to be less smart, just leave a FEW smart characters here and there
