Look, I have no idea where to ask about this, so I'm gonna try my luck here. I wanna be able to decompile the Xi game Viocide, so I'm able to tweak some of the enemy hitboxes, and translate it into English. As far as I know, nobody has done this yet. The game was made in DX Studio, which has proved to be a substantial barrier to my endeavor. If anyone is willing to point me in the right direction, or even willing to help me out, I would be more than grateful.

How good are you at programming and computer runtime environments?
You might want to start with a hex editor like cheat engine to familiarize yourself with the game's live code while you learn how DX studio managed assets.

Because if you're trying to just decode a binary exe file you might as well an hero now because it's gonna be an exercise in self torture.

I know basics, but I'm willing to try to learn.
To be honest, I'm just not sure where to start will all this. I know how to use hex editors to modify simple things, but tha's about it
