Damn this shit sounds good. Like its actually trying to have some intentionality and identity to its level design. Why is this game so forgotten then? Ive been looking for an action adventure game that would actually try to commit to being more than just straight brute force action with like 1 or 2 "puzzles" every 5 hours where youre just standing still in a room interacting with things disconnected from the enviroment mostly like a prompt.

Is this IGN vid wrong? Every other video essay on YouTube seems to dislike the game. I dont know which normie side to listen to, the ones that hate or love the game, its why I dont want to listen to the normies at all, because they would have led me to believe The Last of Us was bad because they dont care about the gameplay, and the haters are a different type of wannabe that also doesn't care about the gameplay, just what theyve arbitrarily decided the gameplay represents.
But its never the true gamers who played TLOU on grounded that ever elucidate it's value, which having played on grounded, I now understand and appreciate.
I dont want to make the mistake of ignorance and hasty judgment based on a common overarching perception. I want to enjoy videogames in all the interesting ways it can be designed. If designed well.
