Anyway the ferret rapist blizzard plant was meant to "dethrone" asmoncuck because blizzard hated asmoncuck for a long time now. Hence why blizzard paid for fake indian subcribers to boost ferret rapists numbers.

Anyway its all coming down crashing on them. Ferret rapist is being hated by everyone, losing a lot of subscribers. And his shitty "game" is getting reviewbombed and the steam discussions is on full damage control. Ferret rapist also actively banning anyone who mentions anything on his stream. And we got tons of indian paid shills(by blizzard) here trying to defend ferret rapist.

To sum it all up, ferret rapist became the perfect villain to give the SKG movement a massive boost and reknown.

Classic underdog story. SKG had support before PS, they had partnered with Heineken and GOG and had YouTubers support them. It wasn't enough. Last month they had 200-300K signatures and it was increasing at an alarmingly slow rate, which is why it was considered a doomed cause. When Ross finally broke his commitment to not engaging in e-drama to shit on PS, everyone followed suit, because this was finally the conflict they needed to make this movement a hot topic.
The sad truth is that no one cares about voting for their rights unless you have someone telling you to do so and presenting a narrative. It should be really no surprise why politicians do this so much, look at the 2016 election, it's almost TV show drama tier. This is just what people like. Gets the people going.

Because the premise of the entire movement isn't real. They had to scrape the bottom of the barrel that hard just to find one example - a literally who game a decade old and played by as many people at that point.

I'm starting to realize all the people backing this movement aren't actually doing so in good faith. They're people who mostly play single player games and are resentful of studios diverting their attention to what to them is GAASslop. They think that undermining the regulatory environment for these types of games will make them unappealing enough that these studios will pivot back to focusing on single player/offline experiences. They're literally mad because they want to consoom more but they aren't being pandered to.

I'm all for people advocating for their own interests but I figured out why the whole thing feels so disingenuous to me. The vast majority of the people who actually play GAAS have no issues with games getting sunset. They understand that the value of those experiences is tied to their transience. With anything live service like mmos or multiplayer games, the journey is more important than the end result.
