You can probably find local deals too elsewhere. If you must buy new, AM4 is still the best value and DDR4 RAM has gotten quite cheap. Good new powersupplies can be found on Amazon for about 70 bucks or so.
>don't plan on playing AAA slopThen don't upgrade at all. If you have to CONSOOM something to feel better then spend 20 bucks on that used i7-2600 to improve stutters and that's all you'll need. Once you have a clear cut upgrade path to what you want, you can sell your old pc to make what you want a little less costly.
