/v/anons make a vidya
You get 100 million dollars as budget to make a videogame. You have to choose:
>genre of the game
>gameplay
>a bit of plot
>director
>dev studio
>composer
>lead artist
Your main objective is to break even. You can make an original game or a new entry of an existent franchise.
What is /v/ going to do?

>genre of the game
Monster Hunter-like
>gameplay
You hunt monsters but missions can be played by more than 4 people just for shits and giggles. But you get less rewards since materials and money all are split evenly
>a bit of plot
Monster wrecks shit, you wreck monsters shit
>director
I am seriously not sure. Maybe Yasunori Ichinose, Eiichiro Sasaki, or Kenji Oguro
>dev studio
Dimps
>composer
ESTi/Jinbae Park as main composer
Main theme sung by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi
Others include Hiroshi Okubo and Tetsukazu Nakanishi
>lead artist
Hisa Masato or Toshiyuki Kubooka

Freedom Wars was pretty fun and they are involved in popular fightans so the team bound to know a thing or two on making impactful gameplay. On that note, maybe Koei Tecmo wouldn't be so bad either

>You get 100 million dollars as budget to make a videogame. You have to choose:
>genre of the game
Imagine a trailblazing game that creates a new genre all its own, like "Monster Hunter" meets "Diner Dash"!
>gameplay
Fight off your Monster Hunter monster customers like they're trying to purchase the last Taylor Swift tickets, while serving them dishes that are unique, interesting, and just a bit magical!
>a bit of plot
Your Monster Hunter theme restaurant has attracted some troublesome clientelle—Monster Hunter Characters who think this is **their** game, and have shown up to go on a rampage! Teach them some table manners and soothe them with your culinary finesse, and you might just be King of the Monster Chefs!
>director
Tom Cruise brings a vision of Action and Adventure that will leave players on the edge of their seats!
>dev studio
Kingsisle Entertainment have joined the development team to bring some Candy Crush perfection to the Diner Dash formula, and maybe sweeten things up with a little sugar!
>composer
Featuring chilling beats by Beethoven, with a monsterous twist!
>lead artist
Famed manga artist Junji Ito will draw up monsters and ghosts so scary, you might just lose your lunch—so it's a good thing our kitchen's always making more!
>Your main objective is to break even. You can make an original game or a new entry of an existent franchise.
>What is /v/ going to do?
"Break even"? We'll be breaking **sales records** with a hit game that's innovative, evocative, and more exciting than a pilfering raccoon trapped in your refrigerator!

Presenting **Sonic Dimensions: The Dragon Portal Chase**:
One day while running a marathon around Green Hill Islands, Sonic discovers one of Dr. Eggman's newest and mist dangerous inventions—the **Dragon Portal Sho

>genre
action adventure
>gameplay
basically Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, taking more cues from how OoT's second half allowed for variability in dungeon completion order but not full-throttle nonlinearity; mini boss and boss fights would also be harder than typical Zelda fare (think Demon's Souls tier)
>plot
I don't have the main story fully figured out yet, but the setting is mostly medieval-Renaissance inspired (with some futuristic and ancient inspired outliers) and populated by anthro animals, with humans having been wiped out ages ago not the most original concept but I promise I have a general idea of a twist to make this more interesting; there'd be some inspiration from the book A Canticle for Leibowitz in the rediscovery of technology and interpretations of various human historical records/remains
>director
dream director would be Yoshiaki Koizumi, but that won't ever happen, so I'll go with Naoki Matsue (Trials of Mana Remake)
>dev studio
Going off the above, the SE team who worked on the recent 3D Mana games
>composers
Miyoko Takaoka and Masanori Hikichi (Terranigma)
>lead artist
kiichi (pic related is an example of his art)

thanks for saying that, Brightis was the original inspiration. It's simple yet charming style made me thought I would be able to make something similar.
Would love to play it some day, hopefully it gets translated soon.

Myself, or Hideki Kamiya

Can't imagine a modern studio making a good game these days.

I hope the twist is that (you) are the only human in a world of anthro cuties
Anonymous No.714895084 [Report]
>>714893464
Sorry, no. My plan is that you'd play as an kemono fox girl in her early teens (I'm not married to it being a fox, but preferably something decently fluffy). The twist I had in mind is that the game actually takes place on a terraformed Mars and it was only the human colonization THERE that got wiped out; the humans on Earth turn out to still be fine, setting the futuristic Earth up as a potential location for a "fish out of water" direct sequel in the vein of Link's Awakening or Majora's Mask.
