I don't really mind it when it's a crossover with another fantasy IP even when it leans into sci-fi like Final Fantasy does, but stuff like Sonic the Hedgehog should just be one or two cards just to make a sort of official "what if" card. No need to make an entire set of them. I think the worst though is when they take an existing card and slap. a new name and art on it. It's just lazy.

I think most of all it's sort of sad that "nerd culture" devolved into crossing over literally everything with everything. Nobody cares about the original product anymore.
