I dont even have software to setup a vm in my current setup since i didint feel the need to access windows 10 from linux and yet 126gigs feels too insignificant for any use to actually use it as a harddrive.

Use clonezilla. Migrate the entire windows partition to the new drive provided new drive is at least the same size. The most that will happen is windows will update its storage driver but otherwise it'll work. I did exactly that to migrate from a stone age Hitachi 2TB HDD to a Crucial P3 2TB. It even successfully dodged the bad sectors I didn't even know I had. No mess, no fuss.

I have a 500gb nvme ssd with several 2tb hdd's and I am continually rotating between which games need the ssd
