What's the appeal of Dragon Age Origins? To me it seems like the only appeal is Morrigan to be honest. The world looks very dull and the game is ugly. And don't mention gameplay, we all know it's trash, i don't even need to try it

No, millions of people didn't buy it and look back fondly on it for morrigan. It was a fantastic rpg. It was a flash in the pan apparently, since they've made several DA games since and none of them come close to the first.

The other companions are great too though, so is Loghain and everything involving him. It's intentionally cliche fantasy while their main focus were characters but they still gave the cliche fantasy a nice touch with the fade and the mage conflict for example. There was tons of potential but they fucked it up after this one
