Most garage sales are full of junk or tools
The tools are cool though, sometimes you find good stuff

Back when I was younger, I used to get tons of games garage saleing. As corny as it sounds, there was no better feeling then knowing you scored an insane deal. Now there's no point when you can just emulate, and the legitimate competition makes it way more stressful.

All the good stuff is long gone, garage sales are dead nowadays.

I bought a shitload of Le Creuset enamelware from an estate sale, spent like $300 and got a bunch of skillets and dutch ovens, pretty much all the cookware I could ever need. That shit is expensive buying new, like $120 for just a 10" skillet.

Most garage sales I've tried to stop at in recent years have never had any video games. Usually a lot of old baby stuff like cribs and strollers and such (which is a huge deal if you are having kids since that kind of stuff is expensive)

Real, scooped up three "broken" NESs off some dipshits back in the day for like fifteen bucks. They all worked fine they just needed wires, think I sold them for a 100 a piece or something. Wish I kept them in hindsight but I was fifteen and wanted some burning cash.

I took the pink pill because I was an autistic dorky white beta male. Women of my own race didn’t want me and fucked the 6ft+ high melanin linebacker instead. Now, I encourage everyone like me to take estrogen and finally be happy

Based, good on you for actually using it too.
I feel like most of it justs sits on wine moms' shelves collecting dust.

Garage sales aren't a thing here but I have found some decent deals at local thrift stores. I usually go to them looking for LPs but sometimes peruse through vidya stuff. Recently bought bunch of cheap, barely-used Dualshock 4's for storage as I genuinely believe it being the greatest controller ever made. It is also criminal that Sony sells them for full price in the year of our lord 2025.

In 2012, I got a PS2 slim, a Sega Genesis and a Sega Saturn all together for 30 bucks. I had to buy controllers, but honestly, it was a pretty good deal.

You need to wake up early (5am). I bought both GH3 and Rock Band 2 guitars for very cheap in 2024.

Bro logged into /v/ and dropped his entire life arc like it was patch notes. Unironically the wildest reply this thread could’ve gotten lmao. Not even sure what pill that is anymore, but godspeed I guess?

they're not some sacred form of treasure and haven't been for decades.
scalpers and reseller vultures check them for retro vidya all the time
