The concept of parody is completely lost with autistic trannies like those in the OP. Mario can't be an asshole because it's inaccurate and different from how he is in the games (in the specific case of mario he has literally 0 personality in 99% of the games anyway), they can't understand that a parody is supposed to comically subvert the original material

That said, those edgy parodies were not trying to be cool, they were trying to be funny by contrasting mario's neutral but positive personality in the games with him being an asshole and violent in the parodies.
