Is this fun solo or is it too centred around having a full squad?

If the monster is annoying like a Rath get the boys so you can spam items. If it isn't, then you can hunt it alone.

You can solo every, but the extreme versions or whatever they are called, will be very difficult to solo on their last missions.

I'm gonna make an assumption that you aren't a classic monster hunter veteran - if you are, this game is great solo and has lots of fun stuff you would remember.

Otherwise, this will be a game with a ton of content but extremely grueling learning curve playing solo. The game is perfectly fine solo for a large part (ie 300 hours), but there is some endgame special hunts that require you to be good at videogames, or play multiplayer.

Overall great game, but this is a send-off swan-song for the classic monster hunter series.

For a new player, solo is perfectly fine up til G-rank. Which is still a hell of a lot of content.

Shouldn't make assumptions like that, they make you look like a cunt, and because of that, I won't elaborate on my opinion of the game.
