>make a fun jetpack
>severely limit the time you spend with the jetpack and make 3/4 the game a boring ground cover shooter
what did they mean by this?

>Notice: Dark Void™ is no longer available on the Steam store.
So is the PC version of this game just abandon-ware or something now? Is there a preserved way to play it on PC or do I just need to rifle through some dying GameStop in a decaying mall to find a scratched and jizz stained physical 360 copy for $6.48?

Wow, I forgot this even existed.
This is the game that red pilled me on games journalists when I was like 12 years old

It was shit on appropriately
Campaign is like 7-8 hours with no replay value and no other modes to play, in the era of tacked on multiplayer which would have been something
The jetpack part was insanely fun but even then you barely got to use it at full power, the non-jetpack parts were whatever
it would get ripped to shreds today

The jetpack gameplay really was the only memorable thing about this game. I wish that aspect was copied by more games. Everything else about the game should be left in the trash, though.

People decided they preferred to buy the same generic FPS and football games a billion times instead of the stuff with new & interesting mechanics.

Yeah, especially with modern open worlds. The jetpack gameplay would make for amazing traversal. Even better if you have to manage fuel costs and such.

Okay maybe it's just this song. But I've had it stuck in my head since the game came out. Love when it comes up on my music shuffle.
