should've gotten a genesis online controller
or one of those mega drive online controllers off of ebay if you want a six-button pad

Disgusting. Gamers use a SEGA 6 button with their 2D games.

every day that passes is another day that i'm super fucking pissed at retro-bit for cucking out on the design of that saturn 3D pad replacement

it is uniquely bad as a 3D pad replacement for the actual saturn because it lacks the analog triggers and it looks like total fucking shit with the joycon sticks haphazardly tossed onto the bottom of a 2D pad

I never owned a genesis and there's nothing about the controller that the snes controller doesn't do better

it's about the controller feel anon
genesis also had a pretty damn good d-pad, and all the switch online controllers are 1:1 with the originals with only one or two smaller exceptions like the gamecube controller (d-pad improved)

but the snes controller feels really good and has enough buttons to be usable in basically any 2D game
the genesis controller is really limited with only 3 buttons

I have a japanese one. It's really cool but the d-pad is genuinely trash. I got the Xbox version of the sn30pro recently and that shit is my jimmy jam. Unfortunately I needed the 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter for it, but the controller is so good that it was worth the extra 20 bucks. It's now my go-to retro controller

oh yeah 8bitdo is legitimately really good despite the guy or guys here that cry so hard about them being shilled that they got added to spam filters

keep your eyes peeled, they're set to debut another controller towards the end of this month

Unlike using AA sony batteries on an Xbox controller... that is cheeky comedy.
