I would, for example, love to see "randomized" runs of games, because that is something you cant autistically practice for, you need to actually be a good player. Also have more races, the most exciting stuff was always races to me, because Theres an actual element of competition.

I'm not even saying people can't do it that way anymore, I just think games should have a special category, "As Intended" or "True Speedrun" or something like that, because I can't be in a minority that small of people who would actually want to see that.
For the record, one of the best speedruns I've ever seen that falls into this category was for THPS3, start to credits in like 3 minutes, insanely impressive.

If you picked up any other game, you would blow dicks at going fast in it. The True Speedrun thing has been on my mind lately - I'm doing the NG+ runs for Blasphemous, was curious about the speedrun, naturally it's mostly skipped but I was pleased to see a Glitchless category. Looked at it, and the combat is exploited to do damage at least 5x faster than you should be able to
