Not developed solely by From, bulk handled by Virtuos and QLOC.
Runs on an updated version of the engine.
Better lighting, draw distance and improved particle effects.
Will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2.

PS5/XSX:
4K/30fps native (no dynamic res).
Optional "Performance" mode: 1080p with 60fps

Switch 2 (devkit only tested):
900p/30fps handheld, 1080p/40fps docked.

Other stuff:
All DLC included, no new bosses/content. Just remaster.

Bonfire warping is faster now

Dedicated servers for all platforms, but no crossplay

Expect a reveal trailer coming at the Gamescom 2025.

Why wouldn't they save a bunch of remaster/remake for the PS6? It's free money. Launching on the PS5 is limiting as hell. They can repackage and make easy bank selling to an entire new generation. I don't believe that but it would be so weird, if true. PS6 is right around the corner.

It's funny how expensive the PC releases became after Elden Ring's release. DS2 used to be sold for something like $5 bucks, then never again.
