It's not RNG you can see your races before you start they're all scripted at certain times of year depending on what your Horsegirl Daughterwife wants to accomplish in her lifetime. You prepare in advance to hit back2backs. Normally you don't even have to win them but it is sad to see them fail triple crowns they want so badly.
