I need to revisit Wind Waker. Dropped it as a kid because my dumb child brain was mad it didn't have a jump button, maybe the most retarded reason I could have for dropping a game. Nice to see some DMC4 love, it's my second favorite in the series.

i just think it's neat.
desu it is because it was still kingdom hearts at its core, which i love, but also it was the first time i got really "wowed" by what was possible on a handheld. it looked like a damn ps2 game. i didn't find anything egregiously bad about the game, except maybe how plain lilo and stitch's world was, but there were lots of highlights. i also appreciated the 3 chapters/characters. i prefer shorter games in general and being able to finish a single character in ~10 hours was nice while still having another two playthroughs to look forward to (especially since each campaign doesn't follow the exact same path).

Given you have a Shinobi game you should absolutely play the 3DS one on mine, it's possibly my favorite in the franchise. It feels like an evolution of Shinobi III with some of the flow of 2002 given the combo meter and how you move faster/hit harder the higher your multiplier.

VII I had as one of my few PS1 games as a kid and it just bored me to the point that I didn't even leave Midgar. Never really went back to it; I obviously know it's a good and important game but I still remember how bored I was by it at the time. XIV I tried the other year at the request of my friend and after a month of trying to get through ARR content I just couldn't anymore.
