Yeah, it's amazing what they managed to do with a 1.0 copy of GTA 3, I think their new goal is GTA 3 if it was after VCS, basically if it was the last PS2 game in the series. But yeah the mod is in its final stages.

They expect this so this is why they're not releasing it in versions so the first release of the mod will be complete. Its up to the community to archive the mod if T2 does nuke the download page.

There's also an entirely new DLC for the mod called LC00 that remakes GTA Advance into GTA 3's gameplay

What's the actual idea behind this mod, anyway? On the GTAforums post they say they want to bring 3 in line with the other 3D Universe games, but what does that actually involve? So far all I've seen is that there's more shit to buy in-game, but it has to be more than that, right?

Good effort but I really don't like the LC stories aesthetic and UI, also the non-shaded flat color texture cars look much worse than in 3/VC
