Imagine there's a video game contest eighty*cough* eight years ago and I don't think you won. I ask you for 100% proof that you won the contest and I will give you cash. Now imagine instead of giving me proof, you give me written testimony how you won (i.e. something beyond worthlessness) instead of 100% proof. Imagine you get so mad that it's not accepted as proof that you take me to court and not only take the prize money, but send me into crippling debt over it, stating you need money because I emotionally damaged you beyond repair.

If you were me, would you believe that they actually won?
