And by fucking amazing kitchen shoes I mean the non-slip tread on them is so good it beats out every pair of boots and non-slip or work shoes I've ever had. Good enough that when I started using a cane, I cut up an old pair of these Crocs and glued their tread to the bottom of a cane foot.

I guess as long as you wear socks and they aren't goofy colorful type with holes then it's fine. Usually some places are concerned with dress code or think they are too slippery. Apparently nurses love wearing them. Definitely real easy to clean, being rubber and all.

Yeah I've heard of nurses and doctors loving enclosed Crocs for the same reason too. Solid lump of rubber that somehow breathes really well even with socks on for further insulation, easy to clean, non-slip tread is the best in the industry. You would definitely not want the perforated ones because that'll just get hot oil or dishwater in your shoes.
