Should I buy a Switch 2 or a PS2? Keep in mind I'm a big tendie. But honestly the Switch 2 seems underwhelming and I'm open to trying new things.

Get a PS2. Umamusume stole all of the Switch 2's thunder and the future looks bleak. PS2 you know has a massive library that will never do you wrong.

If you buy a ps2 slim buy a 79000 model. The other ones have an issue that can cause the ribbon cable for the disc drive to fuck up discs

Nah man the phat is aesthetic as fuck. Also, depending on the slim model you may or may not be able to play 20% of the PS2 library and 100% of the PS1 library, later models removed CD playback entirely. The other slim models practically eat the discs.
