Okay so back in the day everyone played games for fun, so people were just doing whatever they wanted, and they were all pretty happy. If they saw something they didn't like, they went to another server and life continued.
But then normalfags, streamers and corpo-niggers joined the hobby, and seeing a picture of titties in your terrorist-shooting-game is not halal, and loses monetization potential.
So the fun had to be stripped away.
