I haven't played TF2 in fucking forever, but I knew I had this so I looked it up. If you use SAM, does it drop the item? I don't think I have that game so either I traded (if possible) or SAM worked.

I checked and I don't have the game listed in my library. Was it f2p? I remember playing shit like Alien Swarm and Spiral Knights for TF2 stuff so it wouldn't surprise me if I did something in Alliance of Valiant Arms for a TF2 item. If it wasn't f2p, SAM must've worked to unlock the item since it's not tradeable.

Got it. I must've played it a decade plus ago, I just have no memory of it. I don't have it in my library, but I think f2p usually disappear when uninstalled.

The real "you'll never get it" are the service medals. They don't seem to be worth that much, but it's relatively limited and from 2009. I don't play the game anymore, but I'm still proud I have one.
